Introduction & Our Commitment

At Profilix, we believe your personal data belongs to you — not us. This Privacy Policy explains in plain language what information we collect when you use our services, how we use it, and the rights you have over it. We are committed to handling your data with the highest level of care, transparency, and respect.

By accessing profilix.in or using any of our services, you agree to the terms described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of our platform immediately.

Information We Collect

We only collect information that you voluntarily provide to us for the purpose of building your profile website. This includes:

  • Your full name — as you want it displayed on your profile page
  • Profile photo — the image you share with us to be shown on your profile
  • Professional role or tagline — a short description of what you do
  • Bio or about text — a brief introduction about yourself that you write or ask us to help with
  • Social media & website links — URLs to your Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, portfolio, or other platforms you choose to display
  • Contact details — your WhatsApp number or email address, shared by you to coordinate the profile creation process
  • CV or resume file — only if you opt for the resume download feature and choose to share it
  • Payment confirmation — we note that payment was received but we do not store any card, bank, or financial credentials

We do not collect any data automatically, use tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or sell your information to any third party — ever. Profilix is ad-free and always will be.

How We Use Your Information

Your information is used solely to create, maintain, and improve your personal profile website. Specifically, we use it to:

  • Build and publish your profile page at profilix.in/username
  • Communicate with you about updates, renewals, and revisions to your profile
  • Verify your identity and prevent duplicate or fraudulent username claims
  • Provide customer support and respond to your queries
  • Occasionally showcase your public profile link as a demo (you can opt out at any time by messaging us)

Data Storage & Security

Your profile data is stored on secure servers. We follow industry-standard practices to protect your information from unauthorised access, alteration, or disclosure. While no system is 100% immune to breaches, we take every reasonable measure to keep your data safe.

We retain your data for as long as your profile subscription is active. If you choose not to renew and your grace period expires, we may delete your profile data after a reasonable period. You may request deletion at any time by contacting us.

Your Rights

  • Access — Request a copy of the data we hold about you
  • Correction — Ask us to correct any inaccurate information
  • Deletion — Request complete removal of your profile and associated data
  • Opt-out — Ask us not to display your profile as a public demo
  • Portability — Receive your profile content in a readable format

Agreement to Terms

By purchasing a profile from Profilix, messaging us on WhatsApp to initiate the process, or using profilix.in in any way, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions in full. If you are under 18 years of age, you must have a parent or guardian's consent before using our services.

These terms form a legally binding agreement between you ("the Client") and Profilix ("the Service Provider"). We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of our services after any update constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Username Ownership & Exclusivity

Each username on profilix.in is unique and permanently assigned to one client. Once a username is reserved and payment is confirmed:

  • That username cannot be transferred to another person
  • No other client can claim or purchase the same username
  • Username availability is checked on a first-come, first-served basis
  • Profilix reserves the right to refuse any username that is offensive, misleading, or impersonates a public figure or brand
  • If a username subscription lapses and the grace period ends, the username may become available again

Important: Claiming a username that impersonates another person, brand, or public figure is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate termination without refund.

Content Responsibility

You are solely responsible for all content provided to us for your profile page, including your name, bio, photos, social media links, and any other information displayed. By submitting content to Profilix, you confirm that:

  • You own or have the legal right to use all submitted content
  • The content does not violate any copyright, trademark, or intellectual property rights
  • The content is not defamatory, obscene, illegal, or misleading
  • The content does not promote violence, hate, or illegal activities

Profilix reserves the right to refuse or remove any content that violates these conditions without prior notice and without obligation to issue a refund.

Service Delivery & Timeline

We commit to delivering your profile website within 48 hours of receiving all necessary content (photo, bio, links, username preference) and confirmed payment. Delays caused by incomplete information or late responses from the client are not the responsibility of Profilix.

  • Standard delivery: within 48 hours
  • Priority delivery (12-month plan): within 24–36 hours where possible
  • Profile revisions: completed within 48 hours of receiving revision request

Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use Profilix services for any of the following:

  • Impersonating any individual, brand, company, or public figure
  • Publishing false, misleading, or fraudulent information
  • Promoting illegal products, services, or activities
  • Attempting to hack, overload, or disrupt the profilix.in platform
  • Reselling or subletting your profile page or username to a third party

Violation of any of the above will result in immediate termination of your profile without refund.

Limitation of Liability

Profilix provides its services "as is." While we strive for 99%+ uptime and the highest quality, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. Profilix shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use our services, including loss of business, revenue, or data.

Our total liability to you for any claim related to our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the current subscription period.

Refund Policy

Our Clear Refund Stance

At Profilix, we invest real time and effort into building every profile website. Because of this, our refund policy is simple, transparent, and strict. Please read this carefully before making a payment.

Simple rule: If we successfully build and deliver your website, no refund will be issued. A refund is only possible if we are completely unable to build your website.

No Refund After Website is Built

Once your profile website has been designed, built, and delivered — no refund will be provided under any circumstances, including:

  • You change your mind after delivery
  • You feel the design could be better — we offer free revisions instead
  • You decide not to use the profile after it goes live
  • You found a cheaper alternative elsewhere
  • You no longer need the service after delivery
  • Your plan expired and you chose not to renew

This policy exists because once a website is built, our team's time and work cannot be recovered. We encourage you to review demo profiles and ask all questions before making a payment.

When a Refund IS Given

A full refund will be issued only if:

  • We are completely unable to build your website — for example, your chosen username is unavailable and no alternative was agreed upon, or a technical issue on our end prevents delivery entirely
  • We fail to deliver within 7 days of confirmed payment and all required content received — and the delay is solely our fault, not due to missing information from your side

If we face any difficulty building your profile, we will always contact you first via WhatsApp to resolve it before any refund is considered.

Free Revisions — Our Alternative to Refunds

Not satisfied with the delivered profile? We offer free revisions. Tell us exactly what you want changed — layout, content, colors, links — and we will fix it promptly.

  • Request revisions via WhatsApp within 7 days of delivery
  • Revisions after 7 days may be treated as a standard update charged as per your plan
  • Revision requests must include clear, specific instructions

How to Contact Us for a Refund Request

If you believe you qualify for a refund based on the conditions above, contact us within 48 hours of the issue arising:

Include your username, the reason for your request, and any supporting context. We will review and respond within 48 business hours. Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days.

What Profilix Provides

Profilix is a personal profile website creation and hosting service. We design, build, and host a custom profile page for you at a unique URL — profilix.in/yourusername. Our service is tailored, meaning every profile is individually crafted based on your details and preferences — not generated from a generic template.

Our current service includes the following plans:

  • Setup Fee (₹999, one-time) — Username reservation, profile design, and initial launch
  • 4-Month Plan (₹1199) — Profile hosting for 4 months, 1 free update per month, WhatsApp support
  • 12-Month Plan (₹2500) — Profile hosting for 12 months, unlimited updates, priority support, full customisation flexibility

Profile Updates & Revisions

After your profile is live, you can request content updates as follows:

  • 4-Month Plan — 1 free content update per calendar month. Additional updates beyond this are charged at ₹99 per request.
  • 12-Month Plan — Unlimited content updates throughout the subscription period at no extra charge.
  • Setup-only clients — Post-launch updates are not included and will be quoted separately.

What counts as a content update? Changes to your name, photo, bio, phone number, email, or social media links. These are simple text/image changes that take minutes.

⚠️

Design or structural changes — such as adding new sections, changing layout, adding animations, or building new pages — are developer-level work and are charged separately, regardless of your plan. We will always quote you before beginning such work.

All update requests must be submitted via WhatsApp and will be completed within 48 hours of receiving complete, clear instructions from your side.

Hosting & Uptime

Profilix provides hosting for all profile pages on reliable infrastructure. We aim for maximum uptime and fast load speeds. However, scheduled maintenance, server updates, or force majeure events (such as natural disasters, internet outages, or third-party infrastructure failures) may cause temporary unavailability.

  • Planned maintenance will be communicated at least 24 hours in advance where possible
  • Emergency maintenance may occur without notice if required for security
  • Profilix is not liable for loss of business or income during downtime periods

All Profilix profiles are optimised for fast loading — typically under 2 seconds — and are fully mobile-responsive out of the box.

Subscription Management & Renewals

Your profile subscription does not auto-renew. We will remind you via WhatsApp before your subscription expires so you have time to renew without interruption.

  • Renewal reminders are sent 7 days before expiry
  • After expiry, there is a grace period of 14 days during which your profile remains live but no updates are processed
  • After the grace period, your profile will be archived (not deleted) for a further 30 days
  • If you renew within the 30-day archive period, your profile is restored exactly as it was
  • After 30 days of archiving, your username may be released and made available to others

Communication & Support

All Profilix support is provided via WhatsApp (+91 62071 26785) and email (profilix.in@gmail.com). Our typical response time is within 2–4 hours during working hours (9 AM – 9 PM IST, Monday to Saturday).

  • For urgent matters, WhatsApp is the fastest way to reach us
  • Feature requests and feedback are always welcome
  • We do not provide phone call support at this time

Service Termination

Profilix reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate a profile if the client violates our Terms and Conditions. In such cases:

  • The client will be notified of the violation via WhatsApp or email
  • A reasonable opportunity to remedy the violation will be given (unless the violation is severe)
  • No refund will be issued for terminations resulting from policy violations
  • Clients may appeal termination decisions by emailing profilix.in@gmail.com

Clients may also voluntarily cancel their profile at any time by notifying us. Voluntary cancellations are not eligible for refunds on the remaining subscription period unless otherwise stated in the Refund Policy.

Changes to Our Service

Profilix may introduce new features, modify existing features, or discontinue certain aspects of the service at any time. We will provide at least 30 days' notice of any major changes that may materially affect existing clients. Minor updates or improvements will be made without notice as they generally enhance the service.

Pricing for existing clients will not increase during an active subscription period. New pricing, if any, will apply only from the next renewal cycle and will be communicated in advance.
